CONSUMER CARE COUNCIL

INTRODUCTION

 The Consumer Care Council is a club that highlights the importance of one’s duties and entitlements as a consumer.

AIM OF CLUB

The aim of the club is to promote and protect the consumer’s interest by spreading awareness about Consumer rights, responsibilities and laws.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

The members are selected by conducting an inter-class online competition. Interested students work as members and work with student heads and teachers of the Club in planning various activities, to spread consumer awareness.The Club organized a talent hunt for the students of classes IX-X in January 2022 in order to induct new members into the club.

ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN

• Members speak on Consumer rights and responsibilities during class assemblies.
• Putting innovative and informative posts on the Instagram page of Consumer Care Council.
• Hosted ‘Arthashastra’, an Inter-School Competition on 4th November, 2022 in collaboration with Commerce Eco Club.
• The club participates in various events in collaboration with the Commerce Eco Club.
